My name is David and I was born in 1969 in Lemoore, California. I have been into Art since I can remember, and into the GFX field online since 2006 'ish (Photoshop CS2 +3). I have always had a pencil in my hand, drawing or shading something of interest., but since I discovered Photoshop and the classic art of rendering, I have had little time for anything else.
Just recently, thanks to my health changing for the better, I have gotten back into the GFX field, tentatively, as , most GFX sites I know have either slowed in member activity or have changed outright in the sense that the outlook on members and site rules and policies have taken a 360 degree turnabout and no longer reflect the community I once loved.
By and by though, my friends are still about, just in different forums and sites and have, like myself, taken a step aback from the old days of "balls to the wall, GFX production"..
Anyways...
Some of my friends here at Deviant Art know this, but many here at DA do not, so I will share a little about my private life.
I have served in the United States Navy during the Desert Storm - Gulf War era(1988-1992) aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), I am also disabled with Reflex Sympathetic Nerve Distrophy since 2005

Im finally feeling better and well enough to get back onto the comp and photoshop and get some work in, maybe some wallpapers and LPs this weekend into this coming week., since I have so much material piled up to use.

Some of my friends here at Deviant Art know this, but many here at DA do not, so I will share a little about my private life.
I have served in the United States Navy during the Desert Storm - Gulf War era(1988-1992) aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), I am also disabled with Reflex Sympathetic Nerve Distrophy since 2005.
Since 2005, I have been receiving treatment at the local VA here in Amarillo.
In which time I have been collecting War photos through private contributors & friends as well as online resources. Many have come from men and women I have met here at the local VA.
In total I have compiled just over 700 MBs worth of WWI - WWII - Persian Gulf War photographs. Many of which are in color, and all are still in VERY GOOD to near mint condition.
I have come across another resource & and as soon as I can get authorization to use those photos, I will be adding them to the list of free resources/downloads below,
